The instrument was validity and the reliability of the instruments was determined using, the Kuder-Richardson formula 20. A reliability coefficient of 0.70 was obtained. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions, while z-test was used to test the hypotheses. Results from the study revealed that the mean scores of students taught environmental concepts in biology with computer animation was higher than the mean scores of students taught with lecture Similarly, gender was not a significant factor.
