Abstract

The study investigated the mathematics teachers’ technological literacy, dispositions, and integration of Information Communication Technology in the teaching and learning of mathematics. The study was carried out in Abia State, Nigeria, with a population of 267 mathematics teachers in public secondary schools of the state. 134 teachers were randomly selected as the sample for the study through simple random sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was researchers’ developed questionnaire. Three research questions were posed and answered using mean and standard deviation. It was found among others that the extent of technological literacy of mathematics teachers was low and that their dispositions about the benefits of ICT and its integration in the teaching and learning of mathematics were positive. It was recommended among others that there should be continuous training on the use of ICT so that teachers can utilize it in the teaching and learning of mathematics.
