Constrains to effective utilization of electronic learning devices in teaching and learning of business education courses in universities in Rivers State

The study investigated constrains to effective utilization of Electronic-learning devices in teaching and learning of Business Education courses in two state universities in Rivers State. Survey research design was adopted. The population of the study consisted of 1,136 respondents which comprises of 35 Business Educators and 1,101 Business Education students from the two universities in Rivers State. A sample size of 80 respondents, was purposefully drawn from the entire population. Two research questions were answered and two null hypotheses tested at .05 level of significance guided the study. Structured questionnaire containing a total of 26 items was used for data collection. It was found that business education students encountered certain constrains in utilizing E-learning in university education in Rivers State. In the same vein, business education lecturers encountered some difficulties in utilizing e-learningdevices in teaching business education courses. It was recommended that universities in Rivers State should provide sufficient e-learning equipment and equally improve on their internet provider and ensure regular power supply
